UPDATE - On my most recent trip to Fresh Thyme, I was not required to load bags into my cart. The service was excellent. I will return! Thank you. I have patronized Fresh Thyme since it opened in Fairview Heights and I love the store and its atmosphere. However, my last few trips I've noticed that I am required to load my own bags into my cart. Have you eliminated your baggers? I think you owe your customers this service. You're going to lose me. I can shop elsewhere if I want to load my own bags.

Always clean and neat. There are certain things we regularly purchase here as they are well priced and other stores do not have. Produce, meat and fish are always fresh and well presented. Very good selection of organics and cheeses. The fresh and sealed quiche is outstanding as are the dark chocolate covered coffee beans. Very good competition to near by grocery stores.

I normally love Fresh Thyme's salads, but today I do not. That is because I found a LIVING MAGGOT(tiny worm) in my cranberry walnut salad. I don't know how many were in there, but I think I have lost my appetite for the night. For any workers that read this: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check the lettuce/spinach for any pests and wash thoroughly, because honestly this shouldn't happen to anyone.

I stopped by for lunch and was not disappointed. I had the soup/sandwich combo. The store itself had a lot of great selections, prices vary from really well price to some over priced items. If there were a store located closer lets say to Edwardsville it’d be my go to. During my visit the staff seemed fairly new and not really well trained (not knowing how to wrap a sandwich/what soups sold or cashiers not knowing lunch specials) other than that it was a pretty good visit.

I love this store! Fresh fruits and vegetables, great deli and awesome vitamins selection. They also have the best gummy worms.
