Very dependable, thorough and consistently by the book which is refreshing as you know what to expect as opposed to other places I have lived where the law depends on which officer you speak to. Extremely helpful when I had questions regarding several different matters pertaining to law enforcement and were patient with my inquiries. Not sure why people are bashing the parking. If a sheriff needs to respond to an emergency they probably ought to have their car nearby instead of waiting at a crosswalk and then running up/down stairs in a parking garage; imagine the outcry if they were delayed from response due to this issue.

Deputy Chad Stokes doesn't care about domestic violence. He victimized me again when I called him on my former abusive husband, Mark Saviez. Deputy Stokes arrived and told me that we hadn't been married, if we had just been boyfriend and girlfriend he wouldn't have answered the call. I told him how my husband had slapped me and pushed me and threaten to kill me and bury my body his father's vineyard. What did Deputy Stokes do? He told me that he saw no crime committed. He even lied and told me my husband's threatening of my life was "freedom of speech". I recently spoke to an attorney and found out that my husband's comment was in fact a Terrorist Threat. Instead of upholding the law and protecting battered women Deputy Chad Stokes supported the my abusive husband. Deputy also conveniently turned his back while my then husband took his guns and drove them to a different location. This was done after Deputy Stokes talked to my former husband's father around a corner where I could not hear or see. I had told Deputy Stokes about my husband's guns but Stokes refused to take a look. Deputy Stokes also asked where I was born. I later found out from the ACLU that this is a question that is only supposed to be asked of detainees and arrested individuals. The info is used to give to ICE so ICE can later go after the person. Deputy Stokes asked this of me, a battered woman.  So now he is actively discouraging battered women who are immigrants from reporting abuse. I was born in the U.S. so I found the question to be from left field.  In sum, Deputy Chad Stokes doesn't uphold the law. He uphold domestic violence offenders. He even lied to me and told me he took a report. I went to the get the records weeks later and there was never a report filed. Deputy Chad Stokes is the worst.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Jonathan Hurd.  His Nazi like patrolling was a sign of love for the Nazi Party.  Hurd passed on when he decided to arrest someone for not having their papers in order...and the US Marines had to put him down as we put down other Nazis.  Hurd may you not Rest In Peace
