This is the worst experience I have ever had.  My move was arranged by United Movers, I flew to the city where my furniture was being stored, found out they had severed ties with United Movers and had moved my furniture to a different city.  Finally got everything rearranged, showed up 100 miles away to a field in the middle of nowhere....wooden storage pods full of furniture were everywhere.  United showed up, and the storage facility refused to release my furniture.  They stated that they were too busy, but 8 employees were just sitting around in the where house doing nothing.  Eventually the owner came to the facility, and the discussions became very heated...United said they would removed the furniture from the pods themselves, and he refused.  The owner to us to get the f*** off his property and never come back.  These people were rude, held my property for another month before I got it released, and was the worst experience of my life.  Do not use this storage facility!

I wanted to hire local movers and provide business to them, rather than picking an anonymous big company online.  Big Mistake.
Freno Moving and Storage seemed very nice over the phone, but in the end it was the worst service ever.
When I first called the receptionist told me this is peak moving season so there’s a 10 day delay.  I asked what that means? They won’t be able to pick my things up for 10 days? It will take 10 days longer to get to the new city? Her response, “I don’t know I’m just the receptionist.” Great thanks lady.  Still she insisted on sending a mover over to my house to talk to me, they only come during business hours and I work.  So I told her I need to be out of my house by a certain day and need the furniture to arrive by a certain day, if they can’t accommodate that there’s no point in me rearranging my work day to meet the mover for an estimate.  Typically I don’t get scheduled lunch breaks and work out in the field, so I can’t just go home for a lunch break.  Still she insisted the mover would come by and work something out.  
The day of the appointment I called to make sure the guy was on his way, the receptionist says “Oh no, you’re appointment is tomorrow.” I had told her this was this ONLY day I could arrange my schedule to take a break and go home, so there’s no way it could be the next day.  After lots of arguing over the phone, the mover came over 45 minutes late to give me a quote.  As soon as he walked in he told me they would not be able to pick up my furniture until two weeks after the date I need to be out of my house!  Obviously, that didn’t work and it’s something they could have told me over the phone!!! They just thought they could somehow convince me and get money out of me. It was a huge waste of time. DO NOT HIRE THEM, I DIDN’T.

For nearly 5 years, Fresno Moving and Storage has stored 75% of my belongings.  Not only have they and their staff been professional, but kind and generous on a personal level I've seldom seen.  I would highly recommend them for storage and moving.  You won't find a safer, more reliable place to entrust your "stuff".
