My wife and I stopped in here this evening, right after we dropped our kid off for basketball practice. We were lucky enough to get Allie as our server. She was awesome and her recommendations were spot on. We decided to have the pretzel bites as an appetizer, which were delicious. For the main course my wife had the chicken tacos and I had the Fricker’s chicken sandwich… Both of us left very happy. Thank you again for a great meal!!
Granted it was on labor day we came. I honestly felt so sorry for the wait staff. We came in to every table needing to be bussed. Took 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there. Management literally was avoiding eye contact. Management also sent a server from another section to our table to say someone will be with us while the manager was hiding behind the corner. We had the waitress take our order real quick cause at that point we had been there for 40 minutes. 20 minutes later we had to pick up our own drinks that were sitting at the bar. We get our food after an hour and 10 minutes there and my friends nachos looked soggy and the cheese had discolored from sitting under a heat lamp. We had to force the manager to comp them. The whole time you could see the wait staff almost in tears while you can see both manager's avoiding customers and avoiding helping. We tipped both servers but they deserve better management.
Best chicken chunks and curly fries I have ever had! The service is great! Tables were clean. Oh and their dipping sauses are fabulous! I had not been to a Frickers in maybe 15 years...it was so much better at this location than I remember at other locations. Parking: Parking is EASY!
Food was ok and bathrooms, yucky. But can i tell you what made our time there awesome.... it was the waitress! She was super polite, on her A game with 7 orders, and very tidy. She never stopped. We had 5 kids in tow. Our son spilled his drink too, trying to help make room for food, and she was so understanding. We learned she had 10 kids herself and as a mom, she had the patients of a saint. Thank you for you kindness/understanding
Babs and Em made my visit fun and memorable. Shout-out to the kitchen staff for grilling my wings due to allergies. Highly recommend and next time I'm in Dayton I will be back.
We have eaten here before on our trips to the area and food was great along with service. But this go around the food was just bad. The wings where soft the celery should not have even be given out!! We asked for ranch and got one little cup not even all the way full for 20 wings. The wings are tiny and the price is high!!! the fries where just gross some soggy some hard. Like they just had fries left over and tossed them in our order. An i don't even know what to say about the chili cheese dog we got!! It was a tiny hotdogs so really more bun then dog and the chili was like taco meat from a can it was gross and there was very little cheese. It had mustard on it that we did not order. Very upset that such a great place put out such horrable food. And those three items cost me over 30.00 before tipping!!!! Way over priced and quality is just not there
Worst order of chunks we've ever had. Part of order was undercooked and part was over done. Called order to give plenty of prep time and still have to wait 20+ minutes. They weren't understaffed in the restaurant but sure don't know what was going down in the kitchen. What a shame.
Update: As if the meal wasn’t bad enough, it looks like my husband’s card numbers were stolen here. He had not used his card anywhere else and the server took the card back and had opportunity. Someone tried to go on a shopping spree on our dime. Apparently one charge was successful. Be careful paying with your card here!! We came in for a late lunch today with our kids. They were pretty dead, which was nice because we got right in, chose our table, and food came out quickly. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Our food, on the other hand, was pretty horrible. I hadn’t eaten at all since 6 pm the night before.You’d think just about anything would be good to me by that point, but that was not the case here. The naked wings were super blubbery, the sauce tasted watered down, and the blue cheese dressing was literally the worst I’ve ever had. It was disgustingly sweet and runny with the tiniest bits of cheese in it. The salad I got was just okay, but obviously made worse by the blue cheese dressing. Seriously, don’t get the wings or blue cheese. So bad!
Undercooked wings, soggy fries, took 40 minutes to get a drink and 2 hours to get served our food. Manager blamed COVID!!! I've been a loyal customer since the early 90's actually worked at the West Carrollton branch in college and have been going to the Centerville location since 2004. If you like sous vide wings this is your place. But I'm done. Can't waste my hard earned money on bad food and bad service any more
We were there before the dinner crowd so fast service. Wife got a steak which she said was good. I got 10 plane wings with sauce on the side. And they were awesome. These Wings Are Better than even Hooters I think.
