TERRIBLE. They lost a dress shirt of mine. When I informed the owner I was missing a shirt with my order, he attempted to pawn off another person's shirt to me. When I refused to accept another's shirt, the owner became visibly angry and yelled at me to leave. Avoid at all costs.

NEVER USE THESE GUYS!!! $8 to dry clean a women's dress shirt and $25 to dry clean a dress. Will never go back. You have been warned

I wanted to like this place and support a local neighborhood business but I have to recommend NOT to patronize this establishment if only because their prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I took 3 small (2 x 3.5)JLb34 area rugs (2 silk, 1 wool) and it cost almost $60 bucks! We were having house guests arriving in a few days so I paid it thinking it was too much but after schlepping them around decided to give them a try. The rugs do look clean but I don t think the price was reasonable, fair or even close to what other dry cleaners charge. That being said, Washington DC/Chevy Chase/Silver Spring have an inordinate amount of extremely bad dry cleaners. We have now discovered French's on 14th St NW and are very satisfied with the quality of service and their prices. Bye Bye Friedrich.

Don't be fooled by the cute little old ladies at the counter.  I paid up front for alterations, which were ridiculously overpriced ($60 for a single hem of a polyester dress!!!), then they wouldn't let me take the dress without paying an additional price.  They took it upon themselves to do extra alterations that I DID NOT ASK FOR and wanted additional money for them.  I refused to pay extra for services that were not negotiated, and the cute little old lady got aggressive and would not let me take my dress.
I would highly advise against this dry cleaner.  Alternatively, Carriage House Cleaners is very close and reasonably priced, and never a hassle.
