A store full of previously read materials, ranging from autobiographies to yoga, all sold at very reasonable prices.

Story

The Friends of the Library bookstore is open on the second Friday and final weekend of each month. All materials are donated and include paperback, hardback, fiction, romance, trade, travel, religious, research, art, video/dvd, and more. Many are brand new and some are really old. Donations are accepted on those days as well.

Mission

To provide additional funds to the Texarkana Public Library to purchase those items that their budget cannot accomodate. To provide quality reading material at an affordable price to all lovers of books.

My daughter took me to this book store and not only did we spent great mother/daughter quality time browsing but the ladies who volunteer their time were very courteous and helpful and the prices were extremely fair...being book fanatics my daughter and I were able to unearth some "rare" finds that suited our particular interest....much better than going to a new book store and paying an exorbitant price for a book...two thumbs up ladies!!!  

P.S. the money generated from the bookstore helps support our local  public     
        library!!!!!
