I love Santa Cruz State Parks Foundation.  If it weren't for this organization, some of the cut-backs that occurred in California due to fiscal decline, might have hit the state parks of the area of Santa Cruz, CA  The people who work and organize at this organization are some of the most dedicated environmentalists around and they not only put in hours at work, but volunteer their spare time to enhance every event that is in their area.  If you ever want to donate to the state parks of the Santa Cruz, CA area, this is the organization to go to.  don't miss all the wonderful parks that they oversee and support.  Their work is what makes Santa Cruz such a special place to visit.  Tell them Carole the butterfly lady recommended them.
