We have been to this restaurant multiple times, and after today we will not return. I will say previous to today, it was one of my favorite local spots! Service was slow, no biggie really, but we were told the coffee was delayed because they were brewing a new batch. When we did get it, the waiter acted surprised that I wanted sugar, instead of cancer powder (Sweet and Lo). After getting cream and sugar, then discovered coffee was cold and burnt tasting anyway. Don't like to complain, so just pushed it to the side. Then the food came, hash browns were also burnt and gross, eggs were over cooked, and biscuits (which are typically amazing) were rock hard. Hubby had to seek out ketchup from the side station, never found the salt. By this time my husband was pretty ticked and wanted to leave, waiter was mia (totally get he had other tables as well) so I tried to get the manager to run my card. He acted like he didn't hear me speaking to him and walked away. As we were walking out, we heard him speaking shortly/rudely to other patrons as well. Horrible experience, totally unexpected.

It was our first time, my family and I all came on a Sunday. The food was great, our waitress was ok i guess. It was pretty cold where we sat, but the great food and cute area made up for it. (:

Fish tacos are amazing, loved every bite! Atmosphere is really great and the rustic country feel to the building inside and out is cool. Will definitely go back for another bite or maybe two.

Walking up, the place looks Texas cool. The inside and the grounds don't disappoint either, games for the kids and outdoor seating. I had the stuffed chicken fried chicken with a side of Judge Roy Beans both were great. The Beans are spicy but real tasty. My wife had the fish tacos. They were really fresh and plentiful. I could only eat half. Great wine and beer selection. Our son had the Frio Burger which was very good and cooked well, but be warned it was pretty big. Overall wonderful service and great food. Our waiter Garret was super easy going and friendly. Our food was promt and he very attentive. Go there and have fun!

My first time, love it and will be back. Great and attentive service. My son and I had the West Texas Pecan Crusted Bourbon Chicken. Only suggestion is more garlic mashed potatoes and reduction sauce besides the 2 tbsp served since this is an entree. This is Texas folks not Cali, we like our food and are not counting calories. 😆
