Story

"As a parent, I realized there were few social outlets for Catholic teens to deepen and share their Catholic faith. Through prayer, the Holy Spirit put on my heart the idea of a Catholic Youth Center. The Holy Spirit led me to the idea of using my gift for baking as a means to start/support a Youth Center for middle and high school students." -Carrie Zehms, founder

From Above is a non-profit organization. Our main revenue stream will come from generous donations and grants. Sale of the baked goods are the secondary source of revenue. The bakery also aids teens and people with special needs in developing vocational skills and opportunity for people of all ages to volunteer.

The Gathering Place is Diocesan based and blessed by Bishop David Ricken to be part of the new evangelization. It gives families and teens the opportunity to connect with other Catholic's. It also gives them the opportunities to serve the community and deepen their knowledge of the Catholic faith.
