Great 'show' the chefs puts on. Food is really good and they don't use as much sodium as their main local competitor.  Also the place is better lit and has better service than that competitor. Furthermore they actually keep it cool in their whereas the other local Japanese steakhouse tends to often allow the grills to heat the entire restaurant up to a borderline uncomfortable level.

Great food. Beautiful, peaceful setting. Great place to enjoy a romantic dinner if it's your acquired taste. Altho service was a bit slow it was definitely worth the wait. A bit pricey so be prepared to bring a minimum of $100 again definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend this place. Can't wait to visit again.

I absolutely love this place BUT, I've ordered takeout twice & didn't receive carrots, today being one of those times. I figured the first time they just forgot them so I ignored the issue. Then, today, I order again & get home & once again no carrots. So, I called & was informed that you have to ASK for carrots. Why? When carrots are apart of the meal during dinner time? I shouldn't have to pay extra for carrots that should be included in the meal.

I love it here, whenever I am going for a nice date Fujiyama is always the first idea I throw out. The staff is super nice, honestly I got refills on my drinks before I even knew I needed a refill. The food is absolutely amazing as is the sushi. And the cooks do a great job at entertaining kids and adults alike.

My dad took me and my two children out for my birthday. Everything was really good. My daughter had a California roll. My dad and I had steak and scallops. It was excellent. The chef was nice and talented. He interacted with us, doing the standard tricks. He wasn't the most entertaining chef I've seen but he was good.
I will definitely return to Fujiyama.
