Great service. Cool atmosphere. Definitely the place to go if you're a sports fan! The food is great. High end on the price but it's worth it. Will definitely go back!
This is a very nice BBQ spot with a sport bar type environment. Second time trying something off of their extensive menu and plan on doing more exploring. 1st visit, walked away with fried catfish, turnip greens, and corn on the cob with actual cornbread muffins. The food was great. 2nd visit, I opted for the pull Chicken Nachos. This was surprisingly good, I was not disappointed at all. Hubby had ribs, which he can't stop talking about. The BBQ sauce is on point. The only downside was that carrot cake was the only cake option. They do offer several pie options as well for dessert.
First time visiting and I must say I was impressed with the level of service and quality of my meal. Next time I'm rolling through town, I'm going to stop and try another dish! I bet it'll be good, too.Food: 5/5
My first impression at Full Moon was getting takeout the other day. The food taste was good as were the portions. It was a bit pricey, but was worth it. Full Moon was really good for lunch! The smoked chicken is absolutely so delicious and juicy and incredible quality. Some of the best smoked chicken I’ve ever had in a restaurant for sure! Potato salad was delicious tasted like a Mayo and mustard mix base and fries were okay. The white bread is an Alabama BBQ staple. I don’t usually eat it, but it’s definitely normal for a barbecue restaurant. I think the ribs are spare ribs, so they are obviously going to be a more firm texture than baby back. They won’t be melting off the bone - they aren’t meant to do that. They have a good smoky flavor, not sweet really. Quality of all of the meat was far superior to some other places around here. Both the barbecue sauces are absolutely delicious. If you’re trying Full Moon for the first time, you will notice the sauce is more vinegar based, so it’s not sweet like Memphis BBQ. The white sauce is SO good and hard to find in places around here - so glad to take some home! Some of the negative reviews I am seeing are clearly from people who don’t know much about barbecue or understand what type of meat they are ordering. Full Moon is delicious for what it is, and we will definitely be back and hope to catch a game on their huge TVs in the dining room!
This place has it all! It accommodates all palettes. From Chicken Tenders to Steak, you will surely get a great meal. The portions sizes are large. It is really a great riced perfect. My family and I frequent the restaurant often. Great Vibes and the food is delicious!
Horrible…The first time in my life, I had a meal that made me angry! The food was nasty. I order a combo with turkey and ribs. My friend ordered pulled pork with baked potato. After we paid $44.00 and was seated. This when they tell us they are out of baked potatoes. What! We substituted the baked potato for macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese was watery. I could turn the macaroni and cheese upside down and water poured off it. My smoked turkey tasted like frozen died turkey with barbecue sauce on it. Horrible. We were so disappointed. I will say the service was friendly. But somebody need to train the cooks. I hope they make but the way the food tasted last night ; they can close the doors now! And save everybody’s money and time.
The staff is nice and the food is good. The prices are a little high. I ordered 1/2 chicken plate. The young lady taking my order clearly had no clue how a 1/2 chicken is served. She asked if I wanted it white or Dark meat. I said, “a 1/2 chicken is both”… She still did not understand. I settled on a 1/4 chicken dark meat plate. I originally had these guys at 3 stars. Based on a second visit I decided to upgrade them to 4.
Delicious ....it was that good ... I had the black Angus beef brisket with collards and Mac....so good yall...2nd time coming most definitely will be back....I found my BBQ spot Food: 5/5
Just recently went to the Full Moon location in Madison MS with my wife's extended family. It had been said that they were an exceptional barbeque joint. My wife and I found this not to be the case. I had a two-meat plate brisket and spareribs and my wife had a Soul Bowl. The sides were good, cheese grits and collard greens. However, the Soul Bowl, brisket and spareribs left a lot to be desired, in fact, we didn't even finish ours. The brisket was quite dry. The service was good, and the personnel were incredibly friendly. All that being said, I'm not sure that I'd ever pick them over any other barbeque place in the area, kind of disappointing after the buildup that we had heard. Parking: plenty of parking available.
