My family has used this funeral home on several occasions. We used their services in Dec 2016. The counselor we met with was extremely nice. Jesse/Jesus- we were misinformed as to how much our balance was to be since there was an insurance involved. Jesse stated that he was not aware that the process was different now and assumed he's been doing wrong all along for the past 13 years or so that he said he'd been employed there. Not sure what would have happened if we did not have access to the additional $1,000.00 + that needed to be paid for the day before the services. I was also advised that he would take care of coordinating the church and cemetery. After confirming the dates a few days later the cemetery calls me to ask if we had the dates set for the services. When calling into the office to make sure we were all on the same page the other Reps did not know what was going on with our case. I asked if they do not use a computer system where they input the notes on the status or maybe do it old school and write the notes on the file. NOPE .. they all seemed to be lost. Day of the viewing .. we get there early to make sure everything is good and to use the private time to spend with my mother in law. My husband who never complains about anything was upset with how they just combed the front of her hair and did not follow instructions on what our requests were. The top of her hair looked smashed. Her hair looked like they just fluffed it a bit in the front and nothing on top. My husband spoke to the manager and he had someone to come from the Glendora Oak Dale Funeral Home to come fix it. I forgot her name but she was awesome! She did a great job fixing her hair. I was sitting there thinking.. don't these people check them out and make sure they look presentable as much as possible?? guess that's not their goal. Then I express my thoughts on how the process had not run smoothly to the manager and he said he was not happy that I was not happy because it's a reflection of his work since he's the manager. He said he'd call me in a couple of days.. It's been weeks now and I've yet to hear from him. I think his name was Carlos but not sure. Now waiting on the Death Certificate. I called the County Recorders Office it was complete on Dec 28th - it's now Jan 13 and no signs of anything getting done. They were also supposed to make sure the insurance knew that the services had been paid in full so that the insurance would stop auto debiting my account for the premium. Nope.. That did not happen either. I called the insurance and asked them why are they still charging me. The insurance agent said that the funeral home is supposed to be in the claim so they would stop billing. So here I'm handling it myself. I'll probably end up having to go get the Death Certificate myself. I called and left a message for Jesse today. We'll see if he returns my call. So frustrating.. So good luck and be prepared to have make sure they are doing their jobs.

Our family recently had our second loss recently and This is the second time that my family used Del Angel, and I can tell you that they are awesome!!! They are so helpful and understanding Mario and Helen are the best! You can for sure trust them to take care of your loved ones!

I had a few family members pass away and arranged services at this funeral home and had a few wakes at this location. The staff and employees are great and very compassionate to all greiving family members.I would recommend this funeral home to anyone who had a loved one pass away. Helen and Mario are wonderful and will help you out.
