I lived in Europe for 5 years and have had loads of trips to Germany, this is hands down the most authentic German cuisine in Denver! Not only is it authentic but it’s delicious as well! I tried to order just about the whole menu and every dish was so good. The atmosphere and staff are friendly and welcoming. This is truly a hidden gem. You have to check it out.

Best restaurant in Lakewood?  Fantastic dinner at Gaby’s! This is *the spot* for German food. Home cooking at its finest. Everything we got was great, the schnitzel and stroganoff with pierogis were both so good. I could eat that potato salad by the tub.  Can’t wait to return and try the pork hock that you have to call in 3 days in advance!  Be sure to make a reservation before you go!

We had a wonderful dinner here tonight. We sat outside. They have only a few outside tables. If you want to sit outside, I'd make a reservation. The food was very delicious. We had cabbage roll, perogies with potato and cheese, spatzle with German cheese, wursts with sauerkraut, a couple of beers, and German cheesecake. The homemade German mustard was divine. Service was quick and efficient.  I'm looking forward to going back.  Parking: Small parking lot right out front.

Very authentic German spot. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. I had the currywurst and perogies, highly recommend. I’ll be back to eat here again!

I wandered into Gaby’s while on a walk and stumbled into the most delicious meal and wonderful atmosphere. The owners were amazing and helpful. I look forward to returning for that amazing stroganoff & Pilsner on tap!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes

The best schnitzel I have ever eaten! I'm definitely coming back for that again. Our whole meal was delicious, we shared the schnitzel and the rouladen.  I think that schnitzel will be in my dreams tonight! Very pleasant atmosphere, small venue so definitely make a reservation in advance.

Authentic German cooking. Had goulash with dumplings - very good but portions a little on small side for price. Dining area very small so be sure to make a reservation. Good German beer on tap/bottles + wine.Food: 4/5

After Golden Europe closed sadly we decided to try out a new German restaurant. Unfortunately we didn't feel welcomed and the food was to say the least poorly made had little to no flavor the only thing enjoyable food was the schnitzel.. I love mom and pop places but this really wasn't the flavor or experience we had in mind.

We tried Gabby’s for the first time yesterday evening and will definitely be back again soon. The absolute BEST German food I’ve had - and I’m including food that I had in Germany. It’s is a little place with all the charm of a family owned and operated business.

Amazing German food in a place you'd never expect. Gaby knows how to make it. The surroundings are spartan but cozy, service matches it. But if you're patient, you're in for a treat. A fun find in a place you wouldn't expect it!
