Robert was very quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with.  Rates quoted were accurate and very competitive.  Everything was outlined very well to help me understand my coverage.  Felt comfortable with the entire process.

Looked at an 3 bedroom and was scolded when they found out there would be 3 people living at the house. Marty told me that if I wanted to live with so many roommates that I should live downtown with the rest of the students and that he doesn't deal with people like me. 
I'm 26 year old, GRADUATE, who works two jobs, and happens to want to live with two friends. I grew up in Iowa city and wanted to live on the east side, NOT downtown. And now DEFINATELY NOT through these people! RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!

Please don't confuse Gaffey Insurance with Martin Gaffey and his property management.  I have had nothing but the best service with Robert Gaffey in Iowa City for many years.  It is unfortunate that Martin Gaffey and his property management issues are connected to Robert and his wonderful staff at Gaffey Insurance.

Horrible people. I was with my daughter looking for a sick kitten to get her to the vet and back to health. The two times I was out there I was harassed by them. One of the times being with my neighbor who was trying to help. We weren't even on their property. Sorry some people like to help animals! If you don't have a heart like these people then this place is for you! They should be ashamed of themselves. I told the lady to go away and mind her own buisness. They are always being rude to people!

In Addition to  all the negative comments above, he is a racist too. he avoid renting to people of color and Accent.
