A hotel concierge recommended this place for its burgers and shakes. It did not disappoint! The burgers and fries were really good. The omelette was also very tasty. The pancakes stole a show. They were REALLY GOOD! The hashbrowns were good as well. We will definitely make this a breakfast stop anytime we are in Flagstaff. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Kid-friendliness: This place was very kid friendly. They had a great menu for kids, and they were lots of cool things to look at on the walls.
We took our family of 5 here and it was average. The service was great, but the food was average. I had a bacon burger and tje patty was a little burnt. My wife had the Patti melt and she said it was good. My other three boys also had different burgers and said they were average. There was also some weird movie playing with 3/4 naked African boys running around. It was super strange! Overall, it was clean, not to pricey and the service was great. We probably won't go back, but others might enjoy.
The food was all good. The French toast and sweet potato fries were especially good. The staff was friendly. Price was reasonable. The pictures on the wall were fine but they really should spend some money on getting actual memorabilia from the past. Autographed photos or movie props like they have in Hard Rock cafes would be really cool. The photos just all seemed really random.
Beautiful place with a great atmosphere. Many choices for shakes and serves breakfast lunch and dinner all day, which I love being 7 months pregnant! We did have some slight problems with the food. We got the new York strip for breakfast Med rare and it Came out well done. The potatoes and eggs and toast were great though and the toast came out warm and buttered I got the Sante fe chicken sandwich with fried zucchini as the side. the chicken was super tender and delicious just wasn't seasoned. Zucchini fries were great. We wanted to say something about the steak bcs we didn't even take a bite since it was so done but our server didn't ask before we dropped the check. Still was an overall good experience and it's not the servers fault at all. Would recommend their merch and sandwiches!
Stopped here for an early dinner after a quick trip to Flag. Awesome staff, service and food. Really makes you feel like you’re back into the retro days. Fun diner.Food: 5/5
Definitely a fun touristy experience of a classic 50’s diner on Route 66! We went in the middle of a snowy afternoon and got fries, cheese fries and sweet treats shakes, sundaes, cookie and ice cream. The food was good and charming. The only downside was how slow the service was. We waited for long stretches, despite three servers sitting at the counter and no one else in the restaurant, which was frustrating. We were also given menus with different prices from each other, so we weren’t sure what we would be charged. Overall a good experience and I would recommend.
Got our kicks on Route 66! I’ve never seen a bigger milkshake menu! Tried the orange dream also loved the zucchini fries service was awesome.Food: 5/5
We tried out the galaxy diner yesterday. It was cute and cozy but needs some repairs and cleaning and staff needs to be trained a little more. I had the Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich with fries. My husband had the Fish Sandwich with fries. Our son had a Galaxy Burger with fries. We all really enjoyed the food. The fries were tasty and crispy. They have many drink and dessert options. Breakfast is served all day. The menu does not change from breakfast to lunch to dinner. We did have an issue when we first arrived and were seated. There was a young waitress behind the counter standing and talking to a customer for a long time. They were also "popping straws" very loudly right next to our table. I asked our waitress to ask them to stop, and she did ask them, but the waitress behind the counter and her buddy continued another 3 times before her and her friend left together. They were smiling the whole time and didn't seem to care. I'm a veteran with ptsd and it caused problems for the rest of my night. If it was just me I wouldn't go back but I'm trying to write from a more non-bias perspective. The majority of the staff seem very young and would rather talk with friends and goof around on their phones instead of helping customers. Our waitress was pretty good or I would have given a lower review for service. They did have live music by a gentleman with a guitar who also sang. He was good. The front door handles were broken and the lights higher on the ceiling look like they haven't had the bugs cleaned out of them for years. The shiny metal above the long counter had all kinds of hand prints like it was handled by a toddler and left. It's up near the ceiling so I'm not sure how those prints get up there to begin with but it's the entire length of the counter. The bathrooms were dirty as well. I hope this is seen by the staff and manager. It seems like a nice place that could be great.
The food is AMAZING, QUICK and DELICIOUS! I had ordered the "California Dreamin' Burger" and their fries are tasty and has a great crunch to it! Reminds me of the old Burger King fries not to mention the whole meal took roughly less than 7 minutes I'd say, on a Monday evening. Not too many customers, maybe like 10ish or so. The server's name is Gigi S. She is an amazing server and comes to the table often to check up on the food and anything else needed. Great experience all around and really cool to see the inside!
Wanted to experience a "route 66 diner". The setting is a 50's diner for sure. Lots of old time stars pics line the walls. We ordered the Philadelphia Freedom omelet with hash browns and fried egg sandwich with diner spuds. The $17 omelet was a huge disappointment. It was supposed to be "thinly sliced prime rib", American cheese, green peppers, onions & mushrooms. The American cheese turned out to be Kraft singles thrown on top and slices of dry mystery meat inside. It no no sauce or cheese inside to keep it together. Very bland and disappointing. The fried egg sandwich was good and the diner spuds were delicious. Overall, 3 star experience for sure
