Outstanding food!! Great service and a really classy atmosphere. I had the famous "fall off the bone" ribs and prime rib. The ribs were an excellent representation of this style of Chicago ribs, extremely tender, high quality baby back pork ribs with a char finish and a tangy bbq sauce served on the side. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and came with a homemade horseradish sauce on the side. Great wine selection, Bill the partner there was really knowledgeable about the list and it was obvious that they've put a lot of thought into the selection. I'll be back soon to experiment with more of the menu items! Today I tried the Happy hour specials and I have to say these are some of best specials I've ever had!!
I grew up going to the original Gale St. Inn when I lived in Chicago but this location just blew me away. The atmosphere is very modern, the service is outstanding and the food was delicious. Everything was clean and organized even with the winter blizzard from this past week with happy staff there despite weather conditions. Also, Bill, the GM, was very polite and walked around to all people at the restaurant to greet them and speak with them. We drove almost one hour cause of the winter storm and would gladly do so again as we loved this location more so than the original in the city. Hands down, amazing experience. Kid-friendliness: Very polite to my child when they wanted to get up and walk around the restaurant. Kids menu has great price and portions for kids. Parking: Huge parking lot
Everything about this restaurant was great. Delicious high quality plates, great service, and overall a pleasant atmosphere. The place is beautiful and staff super friendly and professional! Highly recommend this restaurant.
First time here celebrating our Anniversary. Cozy atmosphere with fresh delicious food. Mario our server made everything special. We will return to try their seafood entrees!
Amazing staff and food. Went for dinner and ordered the king cut prime rib with French onion soup. The soup was amazing and the prime rib was made to perfection. Will definitely be coming back.
The new and improved Gale Street Inn is a great place to celebrate any occasion. The food is outstanding, the views of the lake are romantic and the remodeled building looks great! Chicago quality in the suburbs! Great place to bring the family or to celebrate time alone with your loved one. Highly recommended!
We had a 90th birthday celebration for my mother-in-law. The service was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make this a special day. Everyone attending said their food was absolutely delicious. We all thank you for a wonderful day.
we stopped in for a very late lunch today! The new updated interior is lovely. The owner seated us and shared about all the changes which really caught my ear. I was pleased to hear that they are in house and make everything fresh, no canned no frozen no stuff that i don't eat. Soup and wedge salad were delish hubby had steak tacos that looked great he enjoyed immensely! Shrimp cocktail was wonderful too! Probably my new favorite place when I get back to this area! Well done!

Had not been to Gale St for years! Went there for lunch. What a wonderful lunch! The service was great. The food was excellent! The ribs were better than I remembered. If you haven't been there in a while, give them a try. New owners.
