We visited so many galleries during our week in NOLA, this was one of our favorites. Jamie really took her time to understand what we were interested in.
Lots of reasonable priced local contemporary art to be found here.

One of my fav galleries in Nola. The owners are great and they keep it current and have a nice approachable modern sensibility when curating the collections.

This is an amazing new gallery with some incredible talent.  I was there once back in December of 2011 and two artists being shown there caught my eye.  One of the artists, Carlos Lopez, has paintings of oyster shells that are more beautiful than I have seen before.  The detail and colors he uses is truly remarkable.  Another artist, Sarah, paints huge portraits of Audry Hepburn which are also very captivating.  This is definitely one to see when on Royal!
