Enjoyed every second. Our server Alania was amazing! She was polite, super educated and very attentive. The food was perfectly seasoned and the dessert was just the icing on the cake. The Restaurant was not crowded, the decor was simply but cute and the music was nice and relaxing. We will definitely return!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Definitely an upgrade from the Outback.
Great experience! Had chicken piccata, the sauce was delicious, served with sauteed broccoli and potatoes. Fried calamari was awesome, served with cherry peppers and an interesting dipping sauce. I've been here twice and has not disappointed yet. Love it!!
My family of four which includes my husband and two teenagers, went for my birthday the first week it opened up. The owner greeted us several times and our waiter was fantastic! I know they were short staffed which is a problem everywhere. However, the food was fantastic! We ordered the family style chicken parmesan and it was one of the best I've ever had. I'm mostly Italian and have grown up with my mother and grandmother's Italian cooking, so I'm pretty picky. Pasta was not included so we had to order it as a side dish. A little pricey for a small bowl. My son had fish which he really enjoyed. The dessert was amazing! I can't remember the name of it but it was a platter of all different types of desserts imported from Italy. Like any new restaurant I'm sure it just has to work out the kinks. We will be back!
I went here for my birthday celebration with a larger crowd. I could not have felt more accommodated and celebrated! Steve our server was attentive and took the time to explain the chefs inspiration for his menu through their travels around Italy. The food came out in a timely manner, especially considering the volume and variation of dishes. I read reviews saying it took a long time for guests to get their meals. That was not our experience. Italian meals can take time! At least you know you aren't getting microwaved items! The risotto rice balls were a favorite as were the gnocchi. My personal favorite was the meatballs. Prepare to spend a couple hours drinking crafted beverages and eating delicious food in a cozy bright setting. I look forward to coming back! Especially to pick up a tray of meatballs.
Went to Gallo with the family and in-laws. Haven't been to this restaurant since it was an Outback, had been recommended. The decor was nice, but after a while the loud lemon wallpaper started getting to me :. The menu was confusing and not explained until we ordered. Some clarification as to what sides were included with entrees is really needed as it would have made a difference when deciding. The food was quite good, but the prices were high for the serving sizes. Several desserts were not available as they we were told they are shipped in from Italy? It seems odd to me week old desserts are preferable to locally baked desserts. The service was a mixed bag. We had a reservation but had to wait. Our waiter was very nice, but seemed to have so many tables that our service suffered. The biggest issue is this was the loudest restaurant we may have ever eaten at. This was partially due to 3 tables where the diners had no issue yelling at the top of their lungs, making conversations at our own table difficult. Overall, good food but too expensive, mediocre service and poor atmosphere. Pretty sure we won't be back. Vegetarian options: Limited options Parking: Parking is a pain as it shares a lot with the hotel, so prepare for a walk. Not sure why there isn't a sidewalk to the restaurant front door.
Absolutely wonderful experience! Food was AMAZING. We went here for my daughter's birthday. But what made the experience wonderful, was our waiter Steve. He was very nice and professional. The atmosphere here is amazing, you really feel like family and so comfortable when you eat here. Overall, such a wonderful time. We will come back here real soon and will be sure to tell friends and family about it. Kid-friendliness: SUPER kid friendly. They really make your kids feel comfortable and the staff are super friendly and kind. Parking: Plenty of parking
I was there with my husband, the place is nice. The staff was great, especially the manager nice man. The food did not surprise me at all. I don't think that was all that. I had pasta with seafood and my husband had chicken with salad. The reason why I say the food didn't surprise me is that by an Italian restaurant, I would think they would make their pasta, past taste just like pasta that you buy at the grocery store from the box.
Went for a family party, reservations using open table for 8 of us. We ordered the family style Calamari App, Salumi platter. Both were excellent. We ordered individual dinners which came with 1 side dish. Our food was excellent, we were impressed, all dishes came out close together and hot. Serving staff was friendly and attentive, even the manager came around to check on us which is a good sign!! They kept the bar area so you can just go for drinks after work, or take clients for business lunch. Def. will be back. Higher end than the Outback that used to be here.
Service, drinks and atmosphere were really good, food definitely not for 4 people, we were 2 and order the seafood platter, didnt come with any pasta just 4 shrimp on top and everything else was clams and mussels, we order a side of spaghetti and the portion was really small so we had to order another one, so we ended up paying almost 80 dollars for a 2 people meal price just for the food i guess what im trying to says, the portions are not family style and the taste for an italian restaurant was good..
