As a JP resident for over five years, I love Galway House. This place is a special spot in the community. With it's cool decorations on the walls, excellent beers and friendly staff it's always a fun time. It's not a luxury spot, but its great for a large quick meal and inexpensive drinks. If you live nearby, you will quickly become a regular!

Good food and drink... cheap. Great seafood. Solid selection on draft. Full menu until 1:30 am. Front door locked at 1:40 am. Last call at 1:45 am. (Observation, when busy: Waving your arms to get the attention of a bartender is the equivalent of a timeout.)

I was just at Galway House and I usually go there and have a decent meal and enjoy the environment, but last night I was there and as I was leaving with a friend I saw one of the white waitress violently push a black woman out of the restaurant. I've also have had other folks of color share about waitresses touching their hair when they've gone in for meals. If you're a person of color, I would think twice about eating here. After going there tonight I won't be back again. Had it been the other way around this post would be much different.

Love Galway House. Food is Tramendous! Great Service. The Feel of it is very Chill and Laid-back. Definitely Recommend to anyone who wants have a Beautiful day in JP.

Can't say enough....Great service and fast....Great prices and very good food.....Nothing more can be said. Just GREAT all around.
