I've been using Garagiste as essentially my sole purveyor of wine (and occasional spirits ) for about 3 years. The daily email is a delectable temptation, which must be tamed. The wine selections and prices vary. The provided descriptions are generally spot-on, and links are frequently provided to allow the curious to see outside comments and price comparisons before buying. There is always something for the beginning wine enthusiast, the steadfastly frugal, the splurge-buyer and the collector. Holiday times bring special selected bottles, sometimes at well below rock-bottom prices. Mystery boxes are always worth every sip. Add to the above the fact that the people who work at Garagiste and deal with the public are friendly and enthusiastic about the wine and their workplace. It's always a pleasure. Thanks to all @Garagiste! Cheers!

Garagiste is one of several mail-list based wine sellers. Jon Rimmerman is a silver-tongued salesman, whose daily missives can easily part you of a good part of your paycheck. He does, however, have a lot of interesting offers, and the hits of interesting wines you might not have access to elsewhere far outweigh the misses.
