i can't believe how blatantly rude my experience with this store was! I felt like they couldn't wait for me to go away. the person who "helped" me was Teresa.

OK let me start off by saying this review has nothing to do with the price/arrangement I got. I was perfectly happy with both of those. This had EVERYTHING to do with the owner Theresa. I have never ordered flowers or have worked in a flower shop before. I was excited to order my mom some flowers for the first time. The person who helped me was very nice and friendly I simply asked her if she could send me a picture of the arrangement and a receipt through email she said she could I completed the order and hung up. I made my order around 2:30 pm. I then got off work a little before 7pm I checked my email and there was nothing. Concerned I called in and got Theresa I got maybe ten seconds into explaining my situation before she rudely interrupted and stated that I was simply being ridiculous for expecting a picture of my arrangement on a Mother's Day weekend. I then went on to try and explain what I was told from the previous worker got maybe five words in and she then again interrupted and said she would be happy to cancel the order and issue me a refund. I could not believe my ears. I then realized I was dealing with an owner who had no respect for me as a customer and did not want to listen to me at all and she was not going to listen. After several minutes of going back and forth she then offered she would email me the receipt and text me a picture. I have never had such poor customer service and felt the need to voice my opinion. So when I was emailed my receipt it had an option to leave a comment and mark whether or not I was satisfied. I marked I was not and wrote a very constructive not rude brief description about what had happened. The next day I wake up around 8:30am and on my phone was a text from the owner stating that obviously they couldn't fulfill what I wanted and was going to cancel my order and refund me the money. I called immediately got Theresa again and I stated I certainly did not want this cancelled. She then said she read my review and felt like I wasn't satisfied with the product and thought it would be better to cancel and offered me the number to Bowcutt's. I then tried to explain my review and she kept interrupting would not let me talk made comments like she was the best florist in northern Utah and that I was simply one of those customers that no matter what price/product I got I still would not be satisfied. I couldn't believe the level of non-active listening, extremely poor customer service and rudeness I was getting from her. I never said anything about the price or arrangement I tried to tell her this is all about her. I then went on for 2 minutes trying to calmly explain why I was unhappy and gave her some constructive criticism not rude just constructive. I thought wow she is finally letting me talk I get in about a minute and a half and I pause and noticed she was no longer on the line she hadn't hung up but simply put the phone down. No wonder I was able to get in a word she had put the phone down. She then came back a minute later and responded with are you done? I was done at that point not angry just done I then was about to voice how rude it was to put me down without letting me know she wasn't listening and she just hung up. I then called Theresa back to cancel claims it is already on the truck for delivery said it would be best if we never did business again I told her she didn't have to tell me twice and hung up. Theresa needs to understand that it is not OK to treat customers like this she may think she is untouchable because the whole 4 other reviews on here gave her 5 stars well not anymore I hope this has an impact on you Theresa if you're reading this I hope you learned something I certainly did and you can bet that I am going to spread the word about my experience to everyone I know and I am from Garland so my word is valued around town. I am not writing this out of spite I am just trying to give you a reality check on how you talk to customers will impact you.

I was surprised when I called Garden Gate Floral & Design, first because I actually got to talk to the shop itself and second because I needed something delivered by 6pm and it was already 4:15pm... The girl was nice and said they could get it out right away... I am impressed.. Joan
