Reynaldo G. Garza, III (Trey) grew up in Brownsville, Texas. He is the grandson of Judge Reynaldo G. Garza, the first Mexican-American federal judge in the history of the United States. He is the son of Reynaldo Garza, Jr. a successful lawyer and mediator practicing in Brownsville, Texas. For Trey, the choice to become an attorney was an easy one.

After graduating from Baylor School of Law in 1998, Trey moved back to the Rio Grande Valley to practice law like his grandfather and father had done before him. He immediately found that he enjoyed being in the courtroom.

With over 10 years of experience practicing law in the Rio Grande Valley, Trey has successfully litigated cases including criminal defense, personal injury, banking/contractual disputes, real estate matters, employment law, divorces and more. Although Trey’s office is located in Brownsville, he has represented clients in both Cameron and Hidalgo counties as well as throughout the state of Texas.

Mr. Garza handled my divorce  and made the process so easy for me.  From the first day I went into his office for consult, his staff was very helpful and friendly. He took care of everything for me, all I really had to do was show up to court. Overall I had a great stress free experience and I would recommend him to anyone who is dealing with a divorce.

Gus Elizondo is a great attorney who always treated me like family. Not only did I feel like he was fighting aggressively for me every step of the way, I felt like he really cared about me and my situation. Trey has busted butt for our case. He's also straight forward with you which we loved. Our case was a very strenuous and long case.  He moves fast to help you and to get the information need for your case. It was an up hill battle for a whole year but Trey helped us get through it. Highly recommend!
