I just want to say thank you to Dr. Addie for the wonderful experience I had here. I have been struggling for over a month now, but she truly listened to my concerns, asked great questions, and looked at my reports thoroughly. I appreciated her concern in ruling things out very quickly and having an immediate plan of action for a lot of further testing. Thank you for helping me have hope for a road of recovery. I appreciated your help immensely!

Truly terrible customer service from their front staff. I asked to see a different provider because the one I was appointed to did not spend much time with me and seemed like he had better things to do. I never heard back from the office, so I called about 3 weeks later and they told me that none of the other doctors wanted to take me on as a patient, so I was left with no choice but to go to Iowa City. I asked them to then cancel my upcoming appointment, and that's when they told me that they had already cancelled it when I called a few weeks ago to ask for a different provider. So they 1) didn't give me a courtesy call to let me know that no other doctor was going to be seeing me 2) didn't tell me that they cancelled my appointment & 3) would not give me a reason for none of the doctors wanting to take me on as a patient. I've never dealt with this type of incompetence in a doctors office before. Do yourself a favor and take the extra time to go to Iowa City. They are now under Unity Point Health, so I hope that they can make them a better office. UPH Public Relations was kind.

Rude nurses everyone that works there seems missable that they even have to talk to you:( Addie is not knowledgeable in the field and just tries to push a PPI on you, with out figuring out the underlining cause of issues. Had to push and push to get testing done to find I test positive for SIBO. I would like a referral for second opinion and they won't even refer to U of Iowa???? Find a different Gastroenterologist you will be better off.

I'm having serious gut issues and there's nothing my Physician can do. SO he referred me here. Well, I have to wait 2 months to see the same doctor I had seen in the past. They have no flexibility apparently in switching who I see. So great, I have to deal with being uncomfortable and not being able to eat much for the next 2 months.

My daughter was sent here after having numerous issues. They are the rudest, uncaring people I've ever encountered. From the front of house down to the doctors we had to deal with. They could careless the reasons why you are there. My daughter was vomiting in the room while waiting and the doctor came in and was more concerned if she was going to get the flu. We are are here for gastro issues not the flu! The nurses are down right mean and rude. Annoyed with the fact you are even there bothering them. No one reads a chart or even listens. No one returns calls with test results and you have to leave a million voice mails. This place needs a complete overhaul. Get some people in there that are in this field to help people not just a paycheck.
