Great place to see gators up close! The show was about 15 mins. It’s just a person feeding the gators chicken legs. I thought someone was going to talk about the gators while they did the show. It was free to get in, so I can’t really complain. They have all ages of gators in different enclosures which was really cool. They offer pictures while holding a baby gator and long fishing poles to feed the gators yourself. **parents the gator show area connects to an arcade, so beware if that if you aren’t trying to go there after saw a few kiddos upset because the parents didn’t realize it was all connected while walking around.
It was a cool experience, especially for free. The kids enjoyed it well enough. The gators were not active at all so there wasn't alot of action but it was neat to see all the different ages of alligators. The only thing I didn't really care for was the spectators trying to give the gators food on a fishing pool contraption. They didn't seem interested in the treats at all and I felt it was like your annoying sibbling poking you from the back seat. Other than that enjoyed it. There are experiences you can buy with the gator, a cute shop inside and good food. Overall worth a visit if you're in the area.
We didn't eat food so I can only share about the gator viewing. Cool place but after a few minutes since the gators weren't moving it got boring. I need to edit after reading the response I got. I didn't mean bar food. It looks like a really good restaurant with a large bar area. We thought this was going to be more of a zoo type setting and I messed up by letting my kids explain what it was. Definitely going to return and try the food since we ate breakfast before going the last time.
Had a really good time here. The activity itself is free and feeding the gators is just $5. This is what our five year old wanted to do for his birthday so we made a day of it. We took a trip from Dothan to Destin and had a great time. Very laid back atmosphere and fun way to pass the time of your in the area or a gator lover yourself. They have an extravagant gift shop with lots of extras , and the establishment itself is large and inviting. Worth the visit for sure!
Omg!! We paid for the VIP experience and it was worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY! Lauren and Caleb were absolutely phenomenal! Talk about knowledgeable, personable, friendly, awesome, down to earth, just literally amazing! My husband and I had a blast!! Definitely pay for the experience! It’ll be one to remember for sure! You learn a lot about alligators, while being up close and personal with them!
This place was a lot of fun for the whole family. My kids loved getting to hold and take a picture with a baby alligator $15 for a 5”x7”, and getting to feed the older alligators $5 for 4 pieces of food and the feeding pole. If you have kids, I would absolutely recommend checking this pace out.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
It was cool... kids had fun. Food is good but pricey and if you have a big party you will be charged a service fee. First time I have ever heard of that... really smart idea tho.
Great fun for the children who can feed the Alligators. We have come here with many children over the last 27 years all have loved the thrill of feeding the Alligators. In addition they enjoy the live shows held here. Great fun and good educational value for all of us about these fantastic creatures. All our kids have had a picture taken with a small Alligator. I am not sure if they still do that but they all loved it and were suitable scared at the same time. Come and enjoy their shows and give your family a good meal in the restaurant at the same time.
So much fun! Loved the experience, I enjoyed it, my senior father and my teenagers. Fun for all ages. Loved the pics with the alligator. Short wait times, maybe because it’s off season. I have nothing but great things to say. I understood the pricing on the souvenirs because that’s how they are able to provide the free gator show. Sponsored a few items for relatives.
Ok sooo me and my family visited on Tuesday June 28th for the gator VIP experience. For one I truly enjoyed it our host got the day Amanda and Chris I think were very helpful and knowledgeable. Me and my family love gators. The downside is my daughter who is only 2yrs old we had to pay $80 bucks for her and $100 bucks a piece for me and my wife that’s $300 total way over priced to just walk around talk and feed those baby gators. We did get goodies and food vouchers but no name tags. And we loved the pictures and holding the baby gator! The food was mediocre not very appetizing. The actual appetizers were better than the food but everyone has different taste buds! We met a great family and dined together with them during our experience. So overall it was fair only gave it 3 stars because of the price for the VIP EXPERIENCE especially for a baby.
