A group of us have had them butcher several steers for us we've bought directly from the farmer and they always do a first date job butchering and packaging the meat.

My friends and I went in together and split the cost of a 1/4 cow from Chuck's Ivesdale Locker back around the first of 2015.  There were long delays and, a few different times, Chuck's Locker actually messed up the order, and kept asking us to wait or take what was ready and come back later for more.

We were patient throughout the whole process, even if frustrated.  To say they were sorry, Chucks' offered us 2 packers briskets.  To us, this was perfectly acceptable, and much appreciated.  We went on our separate ways.

For Memorial Day weekend, we decided to smoke the brisket, only to find out what they gave us and labeled as "brisket" was actually pork belly.

This is simply the worst buying experience I've ever had with a butcher.  I would recommend you find someone else, and avoid Chuck's all together.

We have been going here for quality lean hamburger for years.   The quality has changed for the worse since the business changed ownership.  Very fatty & slimy meat when defrosted - smelled awful too.  We called in the morning to ask if we could return the rest for a refund.  The answer was yes.  We arrived in the afternoon only to be refused a refund.  Made to feel like we are idiots for questioning.  Lost a long standing customer.
