Been going to Gem Comics for better than 25 years. Friendly atmosphere but more than anything very knowledgeable about their products. Enjoy  talking latest trends to industry. They go out of their way to get the comics I want.

Old school comic book store.  They carry back issues (unlike many newer comic stores).  They also know their material.  Nice people, always willing to help and provide suggestions.

A good selection and fair pricing. The owners are extremely friendly. I loved my experience and will definitely go back.

They have all the latest comics and a pretty big space. There are also probably about 40-50 long boxes of back stock (mostly modern books, but some books from the 1970's and beyond). Went through most of the stock and didn't find any real "gems" but found some decent books including a collection of about 70 original Star Wars comics in pretty decent condition. Owner was very nice and offered to help multiple times. Not much in the way of token books (really high priced copies behind the counter).

Would recommend visiting the store and thumbing through the back stock, although keep in mind there is a slight smoke smell in the store.
