Please ask whomever has the power to get it done to do "some trail maintenance" at the Elba equestrian trails. I have been riding there over ten years and no one has added any gravel or footbridges for the horses in the three worst areas.  If there answer to my request is "it's a natural habitat" that we don't want to disturb then remind them they r allowing a waterline to run through Elba so that logic makes no sense.  If the director could visit other trails systems in the state they could see how others care for their trails.  I love Elba and the lack of any upkeep is ruining it and I am sure camping numbers have dropped considerably.  Thank you Debbie Belling

The Flushing County Park was so beautiful with the many trees...just like a woods... Unfortunately I think the maintenance dept has been cutting down too many trees.   The park is wonderful the way it is....let it be forested!
