Gennaro’s Grill & Garden is located in a delightful Old Victorian setting. The cuisine is classic Northern Italian with a Continental flair that includes fresh seafood and vegetarian dishes. All our pastas are homemade, and our breads and desserts are prepared in our kitchen daily.
We offer wines from the Central Coast, Napa Valley, Sanoma and of course Italy all chosen with passionate devotion that stems from Gennaro’s extensive experience as the Chief Wine Stewart on cruise lines. We also have a full bar service where Happy Hour is celebrated Monday thru Thursdays 4:30 to 7:00 pm. We also offer a delightful Tapas menu to compliment Happy Hour.
Gennaro is an experienced and renowned restaurateur, and former owner of Benvenuti Ristorante enjoyed by many SLO residents for 14 years. He also owned Gennaro’s Ristorante in Glendale for 25 years and Il Gazebo. He was the proud recipient of the prestigious Automobile Club’s Four Diamond Award for several consecutive years. His restaurant was voted “One of the best Italian Restaurants in America” by Veronelli Publishing, recipient of the “Di Rona Award for Excellence in Dining” and also featured in Wine Spectator Magazine – The Best Restaurants for Wine Lovers, and received one of the highest Zagat ratings.
Gennaro sold Benvenuti Ristorante in 2005. He has now returned to the same charming location with the goal of creating the ultimate dining experience at attractive prices.
