Great new terminal for United. Very clean and modern. Tablet stations located throughout the terminal. Plenty of spots to lounge and recharge. You can use your miles to purchase food and drinks. The tablets also offer a selection of apps to use, including games, news and social network apps. All United gates are located close to each other. Taking one star off because air traffic control is a mess here. It’s always a huge delay to get off the ground.

They've made some improvements to the terminal recently. The presentation of the artwork can be better. This is still kind of a bland atmosphere. The music sucks. The addition of filtered water fountains (finally!) is great. Not sure if the Pet Relief Area needs that much space. I guess travelers with pets must love it, although I have yet to see anyone using it in the two times I've gone through this terminal since these new improvements. What they need to do is add more charging stations. A terminal map is also needed. It's good there's a prayer room, but it always looks like it's in need of maintenance - trash lying around, chairs need to be straightened. I can't say the terminal is very impressive. This airport is way behind the times compared to many other airports around the world. I don't feel it represents Houston very well...

Great airport, was glad our layover was here! There are plenty of good restaurants throughout the airport, I like that you can order from the menu at your table using the tablet. They also have charging stations throughout the airport, which is so helpful. Tablets can be used all over the place. There is not a bad seat to be had when waiting for your flight.

The airport has made some good upgrades over the last few years. The problem with progress though is making sure operations can keep up with the changes. Many of the modern iPads and desks at the airport are not cleaned since gates didn't have tables just a few months ago. Overall though, the airport continues to develop and improve customer experience.

I am not a fan of this airport for a few reasons. Unfortunately I do fly into this airport every time I come to Houston because of cheaper airfare. I have been through several airports both domestic and international and I have not had as much trouble navigating through an airport as I did at IAH. First off... This airport is so confusing both inside and outside. As soon as I leave my gate I went to go pick up my baggage but then I couldn't tell which way to go to get to the passenger pickup. There was a sign that looks like it was pointing up so then I went up on the elevator with my suitcase and then there's a sign pointing down. So the signs are slightly misleading because if they mean go straight ahead the sign is actually pointing up... Which doesn't make much sense. Now leaving the airport? Is a nightmare... first trying to find your ride and then leaving. Again I have been two international airports where signs are written in a foreign language but yet it was so much easier to navigate. I flew on United so the gate was apparently renovated. It looks nice but there really wasn't a lot of seating most of the seats had tables. And majority of them were occupied by a single person... Which means less seating. On the plus side there were charging ports at each of these tables. The TSA security was too easy... they seems like they really didn't care. Once I finally got to my C gate I had to walk past several Gates before I found the nearest bathroom. I've never had this issue at other airports where I have to walk by so many gates before I found the nearest bathroom.
