The Germantown Cafe is a lovely little place just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville, but still close enough to be convenient for lunch. My husband and I arrived at the cafe via Nashville's free "circuit bus," a great boon to tourists wanting to stop every couple of blocks.  The bus took us almost to the door of the cafe where we were seated promptly (a little after the lunch rush, at 1:00p.m.). The view of downtown Nashville from the window where our table was made for a pleasant backdrop to our lunch. My husband had the Hot Brown Sandwich which was tasty (I took a bite!) and very substantial. My Fried Green Tomato Sandwich was unique and equally delicious. This is a very pleasant cafe, one which you should definitely consider for a relaxed and lovely lunch.

The host staff was very hospitable and the service was excellent! We only had dessert tonight but it was great. I've eaten here for lunch as well and the food was good. They have a designated FREE parking lot for customers or you can use the complimentary valet service.

Amazing! Came in town for a conference and came to celebrate my birthday. Rolls were amazing, almost taster sweet/fried. You'll definitely want to order a second round. We tried the pork, salmon and crab cakes. All of them were delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with anything.

I love the Germantown Cafe. They have a consistent menu of high quality items at good prices in a fun atmosphere. The food is delicious and the wait staff friendly and helpful. There is an extensive beverage selection, as well as daily specials and delectable desserts. When my friends and family visiting Nashville want some upscale delicious food, I take them to the Germantown Cafe!

I gave my son's rehearsal dinner here 2 weeks ago. I can't say enough nice things about the venue. The setup was great, the decoration & table setting were beautiful. The food was fabulous & the wait staff, outstanding. We had 29 ppl in attendance  & everyone loved it. I was very please with everything.
