Great gym, never too crowded.  Has all the standard free weight equipment to do the big lifts (squat, deadlift, bench).  Never did any classes, but I always see them packed.  No particular demographic that goes to this gym, teenagers to active seniors.

Be very careful of the Thrive program at Get Fit, because it has a rigid no-refund policy. The Thrive website does disclose this in small print, I found after the fact. However I would have appreciated it if Thrive owner Amy Spence had made this clear during our orientation/signup meeting when I paid her $300 in advance for an 8-week program. She did not mention the no-refund policy during that meeting. I asked to withdraw right after the first class, because I found that too many of the exercises were ones my doctor has said I must avoid. After several emails back and forth, Amy did offer me a partial credit of $200 to be applied to other Thrive classes (which meet at times that don't work for me or are identical to the program I withdrew from). But absolutely no refund. There is no avenue for appeal, because Amy owns Thrive. Many fitness programs and centers allow a trial class. I learned the hard way that it's a mistake to pay up front without a trial class!

very nice staff-very friendly- nice equipment-great hours  I was visiting out of town and staying at a hotel-GFD gave me a week pass as a guest! that would make me return anytime- and my workouts were great!
