Perfection from beginning to end. Friendly and helpful booking agents. The office staff was incredible!! Our room was above all expectations. 
On a side note... I couldn't find nail polish at any local stores, so one of the sweet office ladies let me use hers!!!

Love... Love... Loved it. My husband and I had an amazing weekend (cabin #3, the Guest Nest). Check-in was a breeze, both fast and super friendly with a veterans discount. There was even a special note on our cabin door thanking me for my service. Everything in and around the cabin was clean and very well kept. I didn't want to leave, but we are planning a return trip in January. Highly recommended!

I just stayed there last weekend with my boyfriend our and fur baby at cabin #37 Bliss. The staff was super friendly and the cabin was beautiful! It was clean, set back in the woods a little ways, and just absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the fireplace a little before going out on the deck to grill and admire the scenery. Once the sun went down we went out (in the cold) just to relax in the hot-tub. It was all well worth it and I couldn't have asked for a better mini-vacay!

Just stayed here and loved it. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating is the unclear distance of our actual cabin from the office which was a pretty good haul. It would be helpful if this was more clear on the website maybe showing a map with all the cabins pinned. We did receive clear directions to the cabin though and it was worth the drive. Tip for newbies: get your maps ready ahead of time and don't rely on cell phone GPS.  Request a visitor's guide from the  official Hocking Hills website in advance  because  it has very helpful maps. Anywho, the cabin was super cute and as expected with nice rustic decor.  We felt secluded and the only other cabin on the property, the Eagle's Nest, was far enough away for ample privacy. Everything was clean, comfortable and in working order.  Kitchen was clean and well stocked although I did bring my own pots and pans because another reviewer had mentioned older, possibly chipped  Teflon cookware. Beware, oven runs HOT so watch what you're baking. Hot tub was nice after hiking too but some of the towels are a little worn and could be replaced. Another suggestion is better lighting by the front porch stairs. Very hard to see in the dark and easy to trip on. Equestrian Ridge Farm was right down the same road for convenient horseback riding.  I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend staying here if you're looking to unplug for awhile. I'm already planning my next trip there. Thanks Getaway Cabins.

We stayed for 3 days after Christmas.  Everything at the cabin was great.  We stayed in cabin 20, the "Homestead".  We went to check in and a few people were ahead of us but the woman got them checked in very quickly.  I think they had stayed before.  The woman who checked us in could not have been nicer.  She gave us the information we needed and we were on our way.  We made it to the cabin and went inside.  Nice music was playing and we left it on while we unpacked and settled in.  The cabin was clean and the perfect size for the 2 of us and our dog Lily.  We enjoyed the hot tub even though it was only 6° outside.  Over the 3 days we went on  few little explorations and tried to get lost on the winding hilly roads.  We had GPS but cell phone reception is pretty much non existent in the area.  We knew that ahead of time and had no issue with that.  On our journeys we saw a bald eagle, a fox, and tons of deer.  Twice during our stay several deer came within 30 yards of the cabin.  The only negative was that the electricity went out about 10 times over the 3 days.  It was only out for about 5-10 seconds each time and once it was out for about 15 minutes.  We saw a tree trimming service and an electric company truck in the area, so they were trying to get it taken care of.  It was never a big issue to us and did not take away from the good time we had.  We will be back.
