We tried goat and chicken biriyani. These tasted nothing like the biriyani we get in India. The portions were enough for 2 persons but the items were rather bland. The meat pieces were tasteless and did not feel fresh. On top of that, this shop is cash only. They do have an ATM inside but cash withdrawal has a $1.50 service charge. Not recommended and not visiting again for sure.
I had the fish curry bowl. It was spicy to my palate, but if you eat spicy food regularly, it's probably fine for you. The fish was very fresh and served over white rice. I also had the mango drink, which was rich and delicious!Food: 5/5
These are my opinion about Ghareeb Nawaz. What I like about it: - The place is ok and you can get probobally the most reasonable food. Its really cheap and unbelievable prices. - so many menu options to chose from. What I don't like: - There are no waiters to serve, if you are a big family be ready to visit reception many times. - Only cash, they do not accept card. - Only one restroom for men and one for women, poor condition. - Evey food you order may not be fresh. I feel like they reuse a lot Overall, its Value for money. If you want ok food with the cheapest price possible -> go for it. If you want a good food, nice experience and wanna really enjoy with family, you may regret going there. Again, these are my opinion, have fun
Their butter chicken is one of my favorite foods of all time, but I’ve had a bad experience the last two times. We ordered for pick up and the first time my butter chicken container had like 20% of the normal chicken amount. It was basically soup with two pieces of chicken. This time we also ordered for pick up and when we got home I noticed my chicken was cubed but then I realized it wasn’t chicken. It seemed like tofu but I can’t find that on the menu. So that was disappointing since I was really craving this all day. Their service leaves a lot to be desired.
The amount of food they give you for what you pay or really worth going here, it’s really cheap. I did try the mango drink and had a weird taste, I’ve tried other place with way better mango drink. Overall this is a good play if you’re trying to eat a lot and pay little.Food: 4/5
I went here with my friend to have lunch. The restaurant is spacious and well lit. I had chilli mutton biryani, chai tea and mango messi. The food is quite spicy but delicious. The portion is huge and I had to ask for to go box as I couldn't finish it. Chai tea is amazing and it costs only 99 cents. Mango messi is also tasty. They accept only cash though. So don't forget to bring cash. I would recommend to try at least once.
First time trying this place yesterday with a couple of friends after hearing about it a while ago. A few different people recommended it. Me and my boyfriend over ordered and had lots of leftovers. The food was all so delicious and so affordable! Love the flavor of the murgh makhani! The chili chicken was very spicy and delicious. Would definitely come back!
This restaurant is over-rated. Will not repeat it again. The butter chicken is a full scam $10 and having undercooked 4 pieces of chicken. The biryani rice with boneless chicken as shown is the worst. No taste of biryani at all. Plain rice with Colours.Food: 1/5
If, the restaurant focuses little more on the taste, it can beat many other restaurants serving indian food. Taste was not up to par, as expected, but the portion is well enough. Making biryani properly cooked just adding yellow turmeric in plain white rice does not give impression of biryani, making properly cooked PARATHA and ultimately adding less spices in the food because over use of spices does not give great taste but focusing on frying basic spices/ingredients to prepare a perfect gravy is the necessity of this restaurant. Location is fine and price is also good, but little more effort on taste would be great. Those who are missing indian food at a reasonable price can try this place.
I heard amazing reviews and ordered lots of food from this place. The worst low quality food was delivered. Rice was watery, meat was undercooked, not sure if the red color was in turn actually any color added to the rice. Very disappointed.Food: 1/5
