Ghost Lake Lodge provides the classic historic resort experience in the Northwoods as people always remembered or imagined it to be. The resort is very private and the lake feels like it is your own and is mostly national forest. Nature is all around, come on up and absorb the tranquility and have some fun!

Ghost Lake Lodge has been my destination for the last 26 years on memorial weekend.  I cannot say enough about this place.  The privacy of the lake surrounded by national forest makes this escape much like a Canadian wilderness experience.  The lake can be tough to fish at times but Nathan (the owner) will always point you in the right direction.  The cabins are rustic but accommodating and Nathan and Pam always make their guests feel at home.  The lake is shallow and weedy but I think it is the best place to bring a youngster to catch his/her first musky as I did! The walleye are plentiful, somewhat tough to catch but when you do, 19-29 inch fish are common. Love this place like no other. Intentionally quiet, pleasantly private.

Amy and Nathan, the amiable and easily approachable proprietors of this delightful escape to tranquility, are magically available whenever needed, but never intrusive. They have created a top-notch quiet escape vacation destination - you'll want to turn around and go back as soon as you get home.
