I came to the pharmacy to fill a prescription for my grandson who was sick at home with a fever from a double ear infection. The girl behind the counter was very nice and said it would be 30 min.(so about 10:30)  I said that was fine i would pick up a few things while waiting. I went back in 30 min. and she said it would be a few more min. I said okay. Let me first say I've worked in customer service, I can be very patient I know there are more people than my grandson who are ill. There were 3 pharmacist working and 3 techs. I kept waiting after about another 10 min. another tech. asked if she could help me, I said I was still waiting to pick up a prescription she asked the name on the prescription, I told her and she said it would be a few min. After another 10 min she checked again and came back and said she put it so the pharmacist would see it and would be a few min. The tech. than came back and rang up the prescription I paid her and she said it would just be a few more minutes the pharmacist had to mix it up. I don't mind waiting but there was a lot of socializing going on about personal business. I also get my medication at Giant Eagle I call it in and pick it up at the drive thru, never a problem and the tech's are very nice. All in all I waited 50 min. which 20 min. I listened to socializing. I love Giant Eagle but was very disappointed in the service. Oh and there was only 1 other person that came to the counter while I was waiting.
