New checkout stands like Wal-Mart.  Got in and out easy today.

It's a giant like any other, but I have rarely seen it busy so checkout is pretty fast all the time.

My wife and I shop at this Giant frequently because we live in the neighborhood.  We've never had any problems coming here (occasional wrong pricetags, or not a good selection of fresh meat..We mostly come here because it's convenient), except TONIGHT. We got in line and ended up with a pretty rude cashier.  It was strange because she was super friendly to the other two customers in front of us but as soon as we approached her, her face looked angry, she didn't say hi after we said hello, or even tell us the total of our shopping trip.  My wife asked her two questions nicely and was blatantly ignored.  Can't help but wonder if it was a race issues, but I hope not because this area is so diverse. Tried to call Management to see what is up and was on hold for 29 mins. Let's just say, we will not shop there anymore.
