Giant at 7th and O Streets NW is outstanding! Well stocked. Friendly, helpful employees. Great made-to-order paninis. Delicious sangria at their bar (has daily happy hour beer specials).

Overall good place, customer service is great for my experience, they are open 24hrs so I understand sometimes stocking of certain items may be in the following supply truck. From my understanding they receive two shipments a week.

Middling selection – it’s a toss-up whether certain sections are stocked – and fairly normal prices. It’s definitely good to have this grocery store in Columbia Heights, but it’s nothing terribly exciting. Self checkout can be unreliable, and the credit card terminals at the normal checkout can be very slow – as can the staff – so plan a little bit of extra time. That said, credit to Giant for being open 24 hours.
