We have been going to Gibby’s for years and probably at least one a week for the past year for everything from crawfish, crab soup, to fish, to lobster, to all of the salads.. Never had a problem. Sunday 8/29/21 at 4pm my husband and I ordered one dozen XL crabs for 109$ for us and another couple and we were so disappointed. Half of them them were under sized see pics under the 6.5 inch mark and a few of them were even cold when we started to eat them despite being told they just got out of the pot.  I called the manager who was terribly unhelpful. We had company here and I explained that to her but nevertheless she Told me to bring the USED shells back to see if they would refund my money because we were clearly ripped off. I told her it was super inconvenient, we have been coming there for years and that a credit should be given to me and put in the book at the register and she declined and said she couldn’t do anything without the shells. I told her I am happy to send her a copy of the receipt again had company overand the pictures we took and still she declined so I told her they would lose a long time customer and she didn’t seem to care. We always get XL crabs we know the sizes they should be at 6.5-7.0 inches point to point which is also advertised on the Gibbys website.  There is a huge difference at 75$ a doz for large crabs which is a majority of what we got vs the x large which we paid 109$. We won’t be returning. Crabs are incredibly expensive right now and to waste money on them is unacceptable. Check your crabs before you go home. I give the 2 stars because we have never had a problem there before but whoever was in charge that day lost a customer. Sorry Charlie.

Love this place!! My parents and I ordered for X-mas eve and as expected they were very busy- they actually messed our order up. first time ever and we have been coming here for a while  But with the kindness in their hearts they offered us larger shrimp at the same price of the smaller shrimp.  I would recommend this place any day!!!  We are already getting our menu orders together for our next get together.

Always a great experience! Crabs are always great when we purchase from here. My husband always seem to come home with all the other foods they offer as well and they never disappoint. The King and Dungeoness Crabs are usually appropriately priced. The staff is always friendly.

Friendly staff, great, huge selection. Everything is fresh. Soups, microwaveable meals, heat and serve. Salads, raw and cooked seafood. Old bay and seasonings. Live lobsters. You can call in your order and have it ready for you when you arrive. All around great place.

Not only was the rockfish sandwich fried to perfection, seasoned well and generously proportioned, but their customer service was impeccable. They prepared my order exactly how I requested without delays. This will be my new go to spot for lunch and dinner. Thank you!

We got jumbo lump crab cakes which were alright they were burned on the bottom so that was a little disappointing and the French fries were burned as well. But, we also got a dozen and a half large male crabs which were great. They were heavy and delicious!! I would definitely recommend Gibby's for steamed crabs and there honey bread any day of the week!

Best crabs I have had in the past five. They cooked perfectly, seasoned just right my bushel of males came to steaming hot. Will definitely order from Gibbys again!

I had several old female crabs and asked for medium males. One was super huge but weighed nothing.
