Story

The firm that is currently Gibson and Associates P.C. was established in 1962. We have been located at 117 Albany Avenue, Waycross, Georgia the entire time that we have been in business. Our firm has continuously provided professional legal services to clients throughout Southeast Georgia. Although our firm has represented clients in civil cases of all types, we now focus our practice on handling those cases in which innocent persons are injured or killed as a result of the negligence or carelessness of others. Among the types of cases our firm handles are general personal injury cases, automobile wrecks, train crossing collisions, wrecks caused by tractor trailers, wrongful death, and premises liability (slip-and-fall) cases. In addition to personal injury cases, our firm also handles cases involving fraud, misrepresentation, breach of contract, violation of the civil R.I.C.O. statute, and other types of commercial and general litigation.

We believe that specifically focusing our time and effort on these type cases allows us to achieve the best results possible for our clients. We have obtained many positive outcomes for clients in the past, including recovering the only two verdicts in excess of $1 million in the Ware County Superior Court. We have settled a number of other cases for amounts exceeding $1 million.
