We camped in one of the yurts and it was pretty nice! It was super convenient to have a fridge and stove top and the beds were pretty comfy. The park is not dog friendly!!! There are a handful of sites that allow them, but they're banned from most of the park and even some of the trails! We didn't realize this in advance and had to find a local place to board our pupper for the weekend :-( Also no alcohol permitted! Free showers but bring flops to wear because they are pretty dingy. Nice playgrounds and day use areas. Overall a great place! We'll definitely be back.

We like camping here because there is plenty of space for our equipment and there is space between the camp sites giving us some privacy. And also the bath house is clean and well maintained. Nice csmphost and a lake and walking trails.

This is a great state park for camping. We go here every year with the entire family. A good size lake is fun for swimming, fishing and kayaking. The kids enjoy the playground and some large rocks off the main trail which they always climb and jump on. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are getting a bit old, however, are still much nicer than many state park bathrooms.

Beautiful Park, but, not dog friendly ! Your segregated from the rest of the campers, and have no access to full hook ups! Not mentioned anywhere in their advertisement ! Pulled in to stay at our reserved site #151, backed in, and realizes we only had electric ! We hadn't planned on not having a water hook up, and after unit ching the travel trailer, didn't want to hook up again, just to fill our tanks for water. We did dump at the last state Park upon leaving so we did have empty black and grey tanks. So... we carried water in jugs back to our camper as needed. They do have access to water spigot throughout the park. The bath houses are outdated, kind of Skevey, so I used my own bath mat to stand on while showering ! The water pressure was nice, plenty of hot water, and they did have 2 big utility sinks for washing dishes at each bath house. The sites are pretty much shaded so our TV antenna only picked up 4 stations, none of which we could zero in on clearly ! No Internet, I have t-mobile for my phone carrier, and have the " one" plan, similar to binge on, as long as you use your phone for viewing the shows your watching. So..my disabled husband spent his time viewing movies on my phone ! I tried mirroring but it would only mirror for about an hour then the phone would shut out the mirror and I'd have to turn it back on, only to have it shut off again in minutes, something I think had to do with the mobile ! So, if your not into the outdoors, bring plenty of movies for your viewing pleasure ! The sites, most of them anyway, have trees between each site, a plus for privacy ! Most are fairly level , and the sites are scattered with large pebbles / rocks, no cement patios. The other thing that bothered me, you can't move the picnic tables, they're bolted down, I had to duck under the arms of my awning to get in and out of my door, bc they also have a cement log, to keep you from backing in to far. Our door was right at the picnic table no matter how far you pulled forward, to keep from blocking traffic with your tow vehicle. Bottom line, would I stay here again, NO !! And...no parking on grass, is a big no no !!

Love taking walks here. Nice paved roads for walkers and trails for hiking.
