Detective Karen Baltz of the GCSO released personal information to 'payson round up' regarding a precious soul named Mick Mattice. He died tragically and was taken too soon at the age of 34 on January 29th, 2016. She released an assumed cause of death before the autopsy results have come back. She also released information without concern for his family and friends, to the media. Again there has yet to an official cause for his death, yet she quoted he was an addict and it was an overdose. In this article her undertone claims he was noone and "we don't care and our community is safe"! She claims he wasn't even from the area so it doesn't matter when IN FACT he had been living there for some time. At no point does she refer that it is still tragic and was one of their community working at the Humane Society of Central City and being of service to his community. Karen Baltz you should be ashamed of yourself and get a new job that doesn't require any empathy for others. My name is Nicole Morris and I am one of many who are outraged and hurt by Detective Karen Baltz callous words regarding Mick Elandor Matice. We love you Mick RIP!
