Know going here that you're going to have to wait for your table, but it is worth it. After putting our name on the wait list, we went for a walk down to the water and then had a drink at the bar while we waited. 
We had the Franklin Island salad, fish on a bun and pan-fried perch fish and chips. Everything was excellent, especially the perch. Our server was very friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Delicious fresh fish and seafood, a wonderful friendly staff, and a great local drink selection. Well worth a side trip if you're in the area or your cottage is nearby. Boat and car access. No reservations, so there may be a wait on busy weekends.

45-60 minute wait but worth it. No reservations possible. Live music and take drinks outside to wait nice touch. Free parking outside restaurant and harbor side. Good selection of beer and wine plus cocktails. Very reasonable pricing for quality.

Fantastic meal.  Great escargot, and calamari, excellent Greek salad. Very nice old restaurant looking over the bay with really good food.  About a 15 minute drive from Killbear Provincial park. 
As with any great restaurant, there may be a bit of a wait but well worth it and you can hang out on the porch having a beer while you wait. Not what I expected from a little restaurant up here but amazing none the less. 
On the menu they also have Chicken Fingers with the caption "not what you came for".

The most quant little spot. Tucked in off of Georgian Bay. So beautiful and natural. Excellent restaurant , variety store & gas bar for boats. Docking at the store & also a government dock that you can dock at for half an hour.
