Park surrounded by houses and other small businesses. Lots of construction going on. Decently clean restrooms. Only saw one homeless tent in the area, but overall a clean area to walk, take your kids to play on the swings,or to play with your dog. There is a play structure and basketball court and large field to play Frisbee and catch football. Restrooms: Decently clean. Women and men ones. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are off their lease when owners is playing catch with them
Small play area, wading pool seasonally open. Huge grassy area with plenty of off-leash dogs despite the signs requiring leashes. Playground: My kids enjoy the climbing frame, they would like more swings though. Restrooms: Restrooms are closed over winter. Dog-friendliness: Probably too dog friendly.
Playground is nice and so is wading pool. But there were few sketchy people hanging around and bathrooms were not clean.
Playground that's big enough for a group of kids, large bathrooms moderate cleanliness for public park restrooms, 2 baseball fields with dugouts, tennis courts with 1 pickleball net, splash area dry in winter. Overall a great park; clean, nice, and fun area.
What a gem. The facilities are well maintained, the population is friendly, and the tennis courts are active. The proximity to the microbrewery scene is a great feature
Good place to play Tennis, Baseball, Picket Ball. Enough room to walk and play with your dog. In the summer it has a fountain to bring your young kids. There are open restrooms on site. It's a great neighborhood park where you can get a feel for the surrounding neighborhood.
Fantastic amenity for Ballard. Features restrooms, a wading pool, two baseball fields, a tennis court, and a really nice playground. Often used as an impromptu dog park by neighbors.
It's been nice to visit recently. They have cleaned it up a lot and we don't have to worry about "spooky friends" when we bring our kids here Playground: Great climber and lots to do for kids big and small!
Nice playground with a big metal tree and cool ropes, etc and an extra structure for smaller kids. Unfortunately, like most parks these days it's full of homeless tents but these ones are very close to the playground, perhaps 10 feet away from the woodchips. Also, there was a light that illuminated the playground a bit but it is broken so with DST its pretty much off-limits around 5pm
Wonderfully updated park with a lovey new playground. Park is shaded in the afternoon has toilets, drink fountains and a splash pool. Picnic tables and park benches near playground for parents as well as lush grass to sit on whilst watching the little ones. Popular park on a warm day. Basketball hoop near by for bigger kids. Now this has been updated we will be back for sure!!
