Gina Berschneider owns and operates their own upholstery workroom in Los Angeles. Custom upholstery and reupholstery.
From 1968 to 2007, the Swiss-born Gina was furniture maker to the stars, selling the luxurious, overstuffed upholstered pieces that were in vogue at the time to Dustin Hoffman, Prince, Sylvester Stallone and scores of other celebrities. Gina made custom upholstery and furniture for Kalef Alaton, Steve Chase, Ron Wilson and other noted interior designers.
Gina and her husband, Mr. Berschneider, sold their iconic California luxury furniture company, Gina B Ltd., in 2007. Soon after in 2008, the Berschneiders took over their abandoned factory and reopened a full-service manufacturing workroom with their daughter, Natalie Berschneider Wiweke, as managing partner. Gina Berschneider has no affiliation with Gina B in Laguna.
Gina Berschneider has been featured on Nate Berkus' American Dream Builders, Dwell with Dignity with Mark Cutler, FIDM's Chairing Styles, Viyet and One Kings Lane.
Gina Berschneider has also done all the upholstery for the last 25+ years for the legendary James Goldstein Home designed by John Lautner.
