The Best King Cakes period!!!

This bakery is one of the first things I think of when I think home. They have the best service, the food can't get any better and the prices are always right. This place had better be around forever! I want to take my future kids, grandkids and hopefully my great grandkids here!

I have a kid! and another on the way! I'll be there in April and will be there then.

My sister and I were not familiar with Morgan City but on our way back to US 90 on 7th Street we saw Ginger's and turned around to get a pastry. I had a shot of espresso in a styrofoam cup that was perfect, and two maple cream danish pastries with pecans on top. Flaky perfection. My sister had a strawberry and cream cheese turnover that was unbelievably stuffed and extremly flaky. Two days later we were still talking about this bakery. It's an hour away....
