I had my vehicle towed there a few days ago after it stalled and wouldn't start again. The next morning they said that the vehicle started just fine and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. They said they would try again later and several other times to see if they can find anything. I called today and they said that my vehicle is fine. I asked what the damage is and he says well we really didn't do anything so I can't really charge you anything. I expected some labor for diagnostic work, but they didn't charge me anything. Finding a mechanic that is trustworthy is all you are really looking for. I am completely impressed. I have never written review for anything, but this seems like the perfect opportunity.

My Family & friends have been using Glastonbury Automotive for years and we have found them to be awesome to deal with. All of the work that was done was done at a fair and reasonable price. We really appreciated that we were always given options on what work actually needed to done and what work should be done to prevent more problems down the road. I would highly and confidently recommend Glastonbury Automotive for all of your cars automotive needs and repair!!!!

Our car broke down in CT and AAA sent Glastonbury Automotive. The flatbed driver (Steve) was an absolutely nice guy which is kinda rare in that biz. Maybe the majority of population in Glastonbury are just nice people because we had the same experience with really nice people at the VW dealership there. Highly recommend this company based on my positive experience.

I was in a very difficult situation with a break down on a Sunday afternoon in Rocky hill, CT. AAA came to my rescue very quickly and suggested an auto repair shop in Glastonbury. Glastonbury Automotive was where we took the vehicle, dropped it off, completed the AAA envelope with the key and deposited it in their over night slot. I was a little uneasy about leaving my vehicle with anyone I hadn't heard of much less to leave it in their lot without speaking to anyone. The next morning I called in and spoke to someone there who acknowledged having the vehicle and that they hadn't looked at it yet. They said they would check it out and get back to me later. I waited till about 11 and called back. I spoke to the same person and he said they HAD looked at it and it was the alternator. I asked him how much it would cost. He gave me a price that I thought was reasonable and told him that I needed it back today and was that possible. He said that he didn't see any problem with that and would get started on it ASAP. I also asked him for a rate on recharging the AC and once I verified that price asked that they do that as well. I never heard back from them, so I called back there at about 3:45. Again speaking to the same individual, he said everything was done and that he was just doing the paperwork now. I picked the vehicle up at 4:30. It was exactly as he said, at the price that he had quoted. The work was satisfactory and I happily drove away. This may sound like just another auto repair done by another auto repair shop but it meant a great deal to me to have a business who was left a vehicle on their doorstep NOT take advantage of the situation and at the very least pad the bill or come up with other fees or tasks that would have inflated the bill. This coupled with the fast action on their part makes me think there are still some very reputable businesses out there who make their living delivering reputable products at fair prices. With the exception of maybe some better status reporting lol, I couldn't be more satisfied or grateful to the folks at Glastonbury Auto for their excellent treatment of me and my emergency. Well done!
