This place is amazing. Its like having nature in the city. I always come here for dog walks or to go kayaking in the summer. The camp grounds are pretty reasonably priced as well. There's a lot of different trails and they're really long, so you can walk for hours if you want to. The one trail has some really steep hills, so it may be a bit challenging if you want to ride a bike there, but I've seen people do it before.

Pretty good little camp ground right in the city pretty much. Theres at least one site that has such a dip in it you can't set up your trailer. They did luckily have a new spot to give us. Also they had their septic dump over flow full at one point.

It was exciting to find a campground within the city of Toronto as I wanted to visit family and there wasn't enough room to park my RV . Glen Rouge is a beautiful campground by a river and forest. It has the feel of being away from the city even though a city road goes by there. Toronto transit is about a 15 min walk so It's easy to get to downtown if you don't have a car. The sites are pleasant and well maintained and the atmosphere relaxing. It was a treasure for me to discover.

Beautiful trail and forest for walking. Crowded on nice days but a great place to take unique photos

A rare quiet treasure in the city - one of the few places in the GTA you can go out and wander for hours without seeing another person.
