The longest park by far in Sacramento for you and your dogs to run and play in. Plenty of space to spread out and some nice basic agility equipment if you are looking to introduce your dog to that! Well shaded with plenty of places to sit down. Can be a bit noisy as it shares a wall with the freeway and a fence line with the baseball fields. Overall the crowd of people that go there are really nice and I have only had once bad experience so far after almost 2 years of going there it is unfortunately kind of inevitable though. I think the park could use better spacing on trash cans and fountains for the dogs, but overall we enjoy this place so much that those things are very small inconveniences.

Very sad.  No seats in the shade.  There is no fresh water for dogs to drink after long play and there are no onsite poo poo bags I brought my own thank God.  There were no restrooms for humans, the ones near park are filthy and used by homeless drug users, per the needles, pee and poop all over, trial sized toiletries, etc.  Huge tree but no seats in the small dog park  There are 4 sets of seats and all are out away from the tree in the sun.  Just sad.

I loved it !! My baby puppy had a blast !! The grass was green, the dogs all got along and the owners were all very nice . the park was very well kept. I cant wait to go again.

Nice, but no one is considerate enough to pickup after their dogs. Sign everywhere Bring your own poop bags. None due to budget issues.

The best dog park in the Sacramento area. It has shade, grass, and large runs. There's an adjacent small dog park as well.

Plenty of space and covered with grass. 4 stars because the only problem is some dog owners take their aggressive dogs in and don't go out when it's a problem. The one I ran into, the lady didn't make an effort to take her dog out when her dog kept on running over growling and trying to bite mine. She kept on telling her dog stop it but continue to walk on without coming to get her dog. She didn't appologize either.

An excellent place to bring your dog !!! The dog park is separated into 2 areas, one for large dogs and the other for small dogs. I love that  there is soo much room for dogs and their owners to run around and play and also that the area is filled with grass as opposed to gravel/dirt.

This park is spacious and clean. We took our four pups there. They loved it!!!

We ENJOY the MANY DIFFERENT DOGS we meet here! Seeing the interaction between the animals is REWARDING to say the least. I like that NO LEASHES are NECESSARY and they even have obstacle structures for the dogs to run and interact with. Nice place for a day out with your BFF ! ENJOY !

Good park with close entrance to River for doggy swim afterwards. Very long and shady which is nice.  Drain is clogged and needs bathrooms but then again i don't care about the bathroom availability really. I guess it would be bad if you really got to go lol
