Story

The PTO of Glendale Spanish Immersion Elementary School in Nashville, TN was established in 2004. We have over 200 families as members and are active in many aspects of the school and community. We strive to enhance the educational experience of our students and to connect the school to the neighborhood around us.

Mission

Mission
Glendale's mission is to prepare students to become life-long learners and responsible citizens. Through an emphasis on Spanish language and culture, students will meet and exceed academic standards, celebrate diversity, and become productive and responsible members of our global society.

Vision
Glendale's vision is to be the top performing Spanish immersion school for elementary children in the nation.

~ learning is greatest when children are in a secure, child-centered environment that embraces the cultural, emotional, academic, physical and social needs of each child,
~ instruction is most effective using differentiated, integrated curriculum with high expectations that engages Spanish and English learners in a collaborative environment,
