We are a cash only facility but ATM is available at the front. We serve breakfast until 11:00 am, lunch and dinner and we serve a wide variety of foods, from hotdogs and hamburgers to plate dinners. We are also known for our ice cream, malts and shakes!
As you enter you will be greeted by a smiling face and a laid back atmosphere. Feel free to find a seat or sit at the counter. Don't have time to stay? We offer take out at the window to the left of the entrance or at the counter.

Glenn's has been a Wilkes County icon for 50 years, it is also known as the Tastee-Freeze by many locals, even though we are not affiliated with the franchise anymore.
Some notable diners that have stopped by over the years have been, Dolly Parton when she was at MerleFest, as well as Ricky Skaggs, Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley. Other notable people include former Governors Jim Hunt and Bob Scott, Secretary of State Elaine Marshall. Zach Galifianakis can often be seen when he is in town.
